Delivery Methods and Delivery Charges for Consumers

In our online store, prices are shown in euros and include value-added tax. Please note that the prices and discounts in the online store apply only to purchases made through the online store.

Products are ordered by adding them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the cart through the online payment service. A binding purchase agreement is formed once the payment has been completed. When placing an order in the online store, you are expected to have read and accepted the terms and conditions in force at the time.

Products in stock are shipped within 1–3 business days from the purchase. The delivery time for made-to-order products is provided separately. If the delivery is delayed, we will contact you. Velj. Wahlstén Oy is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.

We ship consumer orders via Matkahuolto parcel services. Lähellä parcels can be collected from a pickup point (R-kioski, K-Market, Pakettipiste parcel lockers, Matkahuolto agent points). For home delivery, you will receive a text message allowing you to choose a delivery time that suits you.

We deliver consumer orders only within Finland, excluding Åland. Customers placing orders in our online store must be at least 18 years old.

Please note that failing to collect your order does not count as a return. A handling fee of €20 will be charged for uncollected orders.

Payment Methods 

Our online store uses the Paytrail payment service, which allows you to pay securely using the payment method of your choice. The payment service is provided by Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc will appear as the payee on your bank statement or card invoice and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Plc holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we kindly ask you to contact the product supplier first.

Walley Invoice and Installment Payment

The credit provider Walley (Collector Bank AB, Finnish branch, business ID 2644718-5) offers payment by invoice or installment. When paying by invoice or installment, you agree to Walley’s general invoice and credit account terms as well as the Standard European Consumer Credit Information, in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

Retailers only

For those retailers whose creditworthiness has been verified in advance by Velj. Wahlstén Oy, it is possible to choose Wahlstén Invoice as the payment method. The payment terms are determined according to the conditions agreed upon for each business customer.

In accordance with our delivery terms, Velj. Wahlstén Oy reserves the right to cancel an order.

Right of return for consumer orders

Products have a 14-day return policy, excluding embroidered, printed, personalized, made-to-measure, or special-order products. Sale items are not eligible for returns. It is possible to exchange a sale item for a different size or colour within the same product, provided that the sale item is still in stock. Returned products must be unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging. Product tags must be attached, and both the product and packaging must be in resalable condition. When trying a product on your horse, please ensure that it remains clean and that any loose hairs are removed before returning it.

Returns made through Velj. Wahlstén’s online store are free of charge for the customer when our carrier customer code is used and the product is returned according to our return instructions.

Items ordered from the online store can be exchanged by returning the original item and placing a new order for the better-fitting product.

How to make a return (for consumer orders)

1. Returns must always be announced in advance by email to
verkkokauppa@veljwahlsten.com

Please include the following information:

  • Order identification details: order number and name of the purchaser
  • The products being returned
  • The reason for the return only if the product is faulty or incorrect. In other cases, you do not need to provide a reason.

2. You will receive a reply containing our carrier’s return customer codes and a return form. Please fill out the return form carefully and include it in the return package. If you are unable to print the form, you may write the required information on a separate sheet of paper. This ensures the fastest possible processing of your return and refund.

3. Take the package to the service point of our partner carrier (not parcel lockers) and provide our return code, which ensures the return shipment is free of charge for the customer.

Remember to keep the return receipt in case the shipment is lost during transport.

Our customer service will initiate the refund as soon as the returned product has arrived at our warehouse and has been confirmed to be in resalable condition. If the product is returned in used condition, Velj. Wahlstén reserves the right to deduct a depreciation fee from the refund.

Complaints and order cancellation for consumer orders

Any complaints related to the order or delivery should be sent within seven (7) days of receiving the order by email to verkkokauppa@veljwahlsten.com or by calling our customer service at +358 44 7450 601. Please always send photos of the damaged product via email to customer service.

If you notice that you have made an incorrect order, please cancel your order as soon as possible by contacting our customer service. Once the package has been packed in our warehouse, the order cannot be canceled, but you may return the products according to our return policy if needed.

A customer may cancel their order if delivery does not take place within a reasonable time. To cancel the order, please notify us by email at verkkokauppa@veljwahlsten.com or by calling +358 44 7450 601. We aim to notify our customers by email or phone if the delivery time differs from the usual.

Velj. Wahlstén Oy also reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the customer’s payment.
