New Wahlstén Premium Girths

There is power in collaboration – and our new Wahlstén Premium girths are proof of that. From the Wahlstén Premium name, you know that these girths are made in our own production facility in Lahti, Finland. The team from Satula.com has been closely involved in the design process. As they work with saddles every day, they have the best understanding of what riders truly want from a girth.

This collaboration has resulted in two new girths. They are designed to be high-quality essentials with a premium standard. Prime is a black dressage girth that features a shaped design, narrowing at the elbows to ensure a comfortable fit. The girth has elastic, but the stretch has been intentionally kept short for a firmer, more stable feel. The buckles are covered to prevent contact with the horse. From Prime, we developed Prime+, which is otherwise identical but slightly wider overall.

Noble is a long girth following the same ergonomic shape – narrower at the elbows and wider in the middle. It features D-rings underneath and on the sides, allowing various accessories to be attached. Noble also has firm elastics that don’t give way easily when pulled, yet provide the horse with a bit more freedom of movement. The Noble girth is available in brown and black, in sizes ranging from 110 cm to 140 cm in 5 cm increments. In black, smaller sizes (80 and 90 cm) are also available for ponies. We always welcome feedback, and since there has been demand for a non-elastic version, the Noble girth is also available without elastic under the name Nobra. Nobra comes in the same sizes and colors.
